Most food is produced in the temperate Northern hemisphere, with the US by far the largest total and surplus food producer.

​Russia and Australia produce  food surpluses.

S.America and ​​Europe have very small
food surpluses.

Any compromise to US and Russian food production ​​would result in rising world food prices and if sustained would be disastous to world foiod security.
